About 160 km north-east of Dubbo on the Newell Highway
Coonabarabran sits on the Castlereagh River at the foot of the Warrumbungles. We cover it and the rest of Warrumbungle Shire, including Baradine, Coolah, Dunedoo and Mendooran, from Dubbo.
Warrumbungle Shire has a lot of older timber and fibro homes, farm buildings and public buildings spread across several towns. We remove the asbestos in them safely, demolish where needed, and clear the site, planning each trip so the job is finished in one mobilisation.
Around the national park and on rural land, we are careful with clearing: our environmental management plan covers erosion control, native vegetation and heritage checks before work starts.
