Castlereagh Hire is a Supply Nation and NSW Indigenous Chamber of Commerce certified Indigenous business. Agencies, councils and head contractors engage us for demolition, asbestos removal, remediation, civil works and plant hire, and the work counts towards Aboriginal procurement and participation targets.
The NSW Aboriginal Procurement Policy (APP) sets targets for government spending with Aboriginal businesses, and the Aboriginal Participation in Construction (APIC) policy sets Aboriginal participation requirements on construction projects. Engaging a certified Aboriginal business directly, or as a subcontractor, is one of the most direct ways to meet them.
We can be engaged directly by agencies and councils, or brought onto a head contractor’s project for the demolition, hazardous materials, early works, civil or plant package.
We hold the licences, plant and safety systems to do the work ourselves: a Class A asbestos licence, a restricted demolition licence, our own fleet, and an ISO 45001 safety management system.

Based in Dubbo, we deliver across the Orana, Central West and North West, and across NSW for larger programs. That includes multi-site work such as housing demolition packages spread over several towns.
